In the spring of 2015, I was asked by my friend's son to come watch one of his youth lacrosse games. Of course I agreed and wow was it exciting. I was truly impressed with the family like team work this team possessed. The game was very skillful and the pace was incredibly fast. I was hooked! I found myself attending several of his games with the intent of learning as much of the game as I could to become a coach. One thing led to another and now I am starting a local club in hopes to spread this exciting game to the local kids.
I have been a teacher since 2000 and coached several different sports at several different levels—high school tennis, youth baseball as well as youth football. I enjoy working with the kids and seeing the enjoyment they get when the light finally clicks and all the hard work becomes a stepping stone for success.
Greetings. My goal for participating as the Vice President, is to make sure there are alternative athletic opportunities available for youth in our area. Playing youth sports helped me to become a better member of society and learn team building skills, helping me to be successful in the Communication, Security and HVAC/R industries. Currently, I am a Commercial HVAC Account Manager, representing Johnson Controls/York in greater Chicago and living, with my lovely wife of 28 years, in beautiful SE Wisconsin.
